Team Selection and Eligibility Criteria

In order to be able to shoot for England the following rules will apply: 

  • The archer MUST be affiliated to and English Region 
  • Must meet one or more of the following criteria: 

Be born in England 

Have at least one parent born in England 

Have at least one grandparent born in England 

Been resident in England for at least one year prior to the first day of the event 

SELECTION  

SENIOR ARCHERS: 

  • For Home Nations events only, the archer must NOT have represented GB in the 12 months prior to the event (indoors or outdoors) 
  • For CACE (Commonwealth Archery Championships of Europe) only, archers who have represented GB in the preceding 12 months MAY be selected as this event conforms to Commonwealth selection rules 
  • Scores submitted MUST be from UKRS or WRS events 

JUNIOR ARCHERS 

  • The minimum age for selection is 13 years on the first day of the event 
  • The maximum age is 18 years, except for the Commonwealth Junior Europe Championships, where the maximum age is 21 (in line with WA rules) 
  • Archers will be entered into the round appropriate to their age at the time of the event 
  • Archers must NOT have represented GB in the 12 months prior to the event 
  • Scores submitted MUST be from UKRS or WRS events
